KUALA LUMPUR, 3 DECEMBER 2009: Subscribers of DiGi Music Unlimited service continue to enjoy exclusive privileges with the latest round of DiGi Music LIVE series, featuring rock band, Y2J and pop singer, Evan Yo. DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi"), in collaboration with Universal Music and Sony Music, will hold the free exclusive showcases in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, starting from 4 December.

The back-to-back performances by the Taiwanese singers will be held at Highway Autocity in Prai, Penang (4 December), Sungei Wang rooftop in Kuala Lumpur (5 December) and 1Borneo HyperMall in Kota Kinabalu (6 December).

Young and upcoming Taiwanese rock duo, Y2J, will kick off the showcases first with a string of hits from their inaugural album, Live For You. Guitarist Yuming Lai and Jane Huang of Y2J will be performing Live For You (為你而活), Armed Rose (武裝的薔薇) and Guardian (守護者).

Evan Yo, a multi-talented Mandarin pop singer and a recent Classical Music graduate of National Taiwan Normal University, will then take the stage to entertain the crowd with songs from his third album like the chart-topping songs, Loneliness (寂寞。好了), Shining SMS (發光的簡訊)and Little Guai Guai (小乖乖). This singer-songwriter is also set to wow the audience with his major hit, I Can (我可以).

DiGi's Head of Segments, Koay Chee Keong, said: "We want to keep our subscribers engaged and we aim to do that by creating exceptional music encounters that cater to their different music preferences. This time, we are bringing two young acts, whose music has attracted a strong following among Malaysian youths today."

Loan Cheong, General Manager of Universal Music Malaysia, noted: "Many times, outstation fans have to make their way to the Klang Valley to catch live performances of their favourite artistes. Now, with three locations to choose from, I believe the fans would appreciate our decision of bringing their idols closer to them."

Managing Director of Sony Music, Adrian Lim, expanded: "These shows are tailored to be once-in-a-lifetime experience for fans as it's not every day that one can enjoy two different music genres in a single show. Because these exclusive showcases are only available to DiGi Music Unlimited subscribers, we are confident that the ticket redemption rate for all three locations will be snapped up in a very short time."

Showcase passes are still available at various locations listed on www.digimusic.com.my/live. To sign up for DiGi Music Unlimited and gain exclusive access to future events, DiGi customers can do so via DiGiMusic.com.my or SMS "ON MUSIC" to 2000.
