Digi enhances roaming passes to help travelers stay connected affordably

• Customers can enjoy the best roaming passes to travel around the world starting from RM25 for 3 days  
• Also introduces passes for longer travel periods in addition to free roaming with selected Digi Postpaid plans

SUBANG JAYA, 25 August 2022 – Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) announced today an enhanced selection of roaming passes for Malaysians who are planning to travel around the world. The new passes will allow customers to easily stay connected as they rediscover the joy of travelling after a long travel hiatus due to the pandemic.

Customers travelling to Asian countries now have the choice of opting for Digi’s Asia Pass at only RM25 for 3 days. The Asia Pass covers 20 countries and comes with 2GB of Internet and 30 minutes of roaming voice calls. For a limited time, customers who are travelling to Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand can enjoy an extra 2GB, giving them a total of 4GB of Internet.

For customers who are planning longer trips around the world, they now have the choice of opting for Digi’s 7-day roaming passes for only RM50. With this pass, customers will get 2GB Internet quota covering 46 countries including popular destinations such as Australia, New Zealand and USA, with more countries to be added in the near future.

As part of this enhancement, the latest roaming passes are no longer limited to only Digi Postpaid customers. Now, Digi Prepaid customers also have similar access to these roaming passes making it easier for all Digi customers to stay connected during their travels overseas.

While customers have the flexibility to purchase the roaming passes at any time convenient to them, Digi Postpaid customers who travel frequently can also opt for the Roam Like Home Freedom Add-on which offers free roaming every month. The Roam Like Home Freedom Add-on is available with Digi Postpaid 90 and above, and has been enhanced to offer 10GB of Internet, 60 minutes of roaming voice calls and 60 minutes of IDD voice calls, refreshed every month.
