A specialist in corporate affairs, Zaiton is well-respected for her extensive local and international experience in shaping corporate values and managing stakeholder relations.

On the appointment, Johan Dennelind, CEO of DiGi said, "We believe Zaiton will be a valuable addition to the DiGi Management Team. I am pleased to welcome her on board and look forward to have her lead the Corporate Affairs Division in solidifying our stakeholder management strategy."

In her new capacity, Zaiton will oversee Corporate Communications, Corporate Relations, Corporate Responsibility, Legal and Regulatory, and will be responsible for strategising plans that will contribute towards the company's goal.

On joining DiGi, Zaiton said, "I am delighted with the opportunity to join the telco sector after several years in the petroleum and financial industries. DiGi is a young and vibrant company with a unique corporate culture which nurtures creativity, empowerment and a really different way of doing things. I look forward to being part of this dynamic company."

With over 30 years experience in the field, Zaiton started her career in various PR Consultancies before joining PETRONAS where she moved up the management ladder to head its Group Promotions & Brand team.
