DiGi makes it easy for mobile users to send songs to friends
SHAH ALAM, 5 February 2009: DiGi customers can now express their feelings through songs to their family and friends with DiGi's latest music service, Music TelegramTM.
DiGi's Music TelegramTM allows customers to send mobile content such as full music track or ringtones as a gift to their family and friends' mobile phones. They can send their 'telegram' requests online at digi.com.my/music or through DiGi WAP music portal.
According to Nikki Lee, DiGi's Head of Youth Segment, "Music is the universal language for youths and we believe it will be an ideal platform for youth to express themselves with the gift of a song.
"It is also DiGi's commitment to provide customers with an innovative communication experience that is personalized, fun and above all relevant to their lifestyle," she added.
DiGi is working with all music labels on the playlist. There are thousands of tracks and ringtones of various genres to suit customers' preference.
In conjunction with the launch, DiGi is working with local radio stations; Hitz FM, Era FM and MY FM on a promotion segment from January 5th to February 8th that allows customers to make two song dedications daily for each radio stations. To take part, DiGi customers can log on to digi.com.my/music and fill in their dedication requests.
Moreover, in conjunction with the launch of Music Music TelegramTM, a team of performers called the "Music Squad", will select the best music telegram dedications online and perform live to the lucky recipients. DiGi is also running a 50% discount on all content purchases within the same period.
