Johan Dennelind new DiGi CEO

SHAH ALAM, 12 February 2008: DiGi.Com Berhad ("DiGi") today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Johan Dennelind as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will succeed Mr. Morten Lundal, who leaves DiGi on March 31st.

Johan Dennelind has earlier served as both Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in DiGi. He has also been CFO, CMO and deputy CEO of Telenor Sweden. Dennelind is a Swede, 38 years old, married and has two children.

"I am honoured to get this opportunity. Coming back to a company I am already familiar with is naturally an advantage, and I am truly excited about the opportunities ahead for DiGi. My entire family is also looking forward to returning to our second home in Malaysia," said Johan Dennelind, newly appointed CEO of DiGi.

"We are very pleased to have Johan Dennelind as DiGi's new Chief Executive Officer. DiGi is fortunate to get a CEO already well acquainted with the company, the staff, the customers and of course the Malaysian society. The Board of Directors welcomes Johan back to Malaysia, and we are looking forward to co-operating with him again," said Mr. Arve Johansen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DiGi.

Prior to the expiry of his four year contract as CEO of DiGi, Morten Lundal informed the Board of Directors that he will not extend his contract beyond this term. Morten Lundal has been the CEO of DiGi since July 2004.

"During Morten's tenure, DiGi's value has more than quintupled and DiGi is now one of the most admired companies in Malaysia. This aptly illustrates how well he has run the company. The Board of Directors would like to thank Morten for his excellent contribution, and we wish him all the best in his new assignment," said Arve Johansen.

Previously, Morten Lundal has held several executive positions in Telenor, DiGi's main shareholder, both as Senior Vice President for Telenor's Internet and Business Solutions business areas, as a member of the Group Management and as Head of Corporate Strategy.

"I have had four wonderful years in DiGi and Malaysia. It's now time to change, and I am together with my family looking forward to our next step, which we find both challenging and exciting. Having worked together with Johan for a long time, I am very happy to leave DiGi in his very capable hands," said Morten Lundal, who has accepted a senior international role within the Vodafone Group.

DiGi is Malaysia's fastest growing mobile operator driving innovation, simplicity and best value, serving 6.4 million customers (as of Q4 2007).
