Digi spends special day appreciating loyal customers and enabling their digital lifestyle
Over 2,000 Digizens connect with customers nationwide for the company's annual customer appreciation event
SHAH ALAM, 8 October 2015 - Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("Digi") demonstrated its deep commitment to customers today by mobilising over 2,000 Digizens nationwide for its annual Customer First Day celebration. Themed with the brand's newly launched tagline 'Let's Inspire!', the event saw Digi employees flooding the streets in six major cities with the aim of inspiring and empowering customers to enjoy more exciting digital services through Digi's best for internet network.
This is the first time Digi has celebrated its Customer First Day in all key market centres across Malaysia with senior management team members leading customer activities in the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bharu, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu simultaneously.
Spotted closely engaging with customers in the Klang Valley was Digi's Chief Executive Officer, Albern Murty. Albern said, "Making Digi more relatable to customers is crucial for us to better understand how we can continue delivering better customer experiences. Our customers' honest feedback and willingness to openly engage with us inspires us to be better and become more than just a telco. When we connect with our customers like we did today, it makes it more personal and sincere. And we saw that today with the response we received from customers when showing them how to enjoy a better digital experience with our mobile apps - it has been a very satisfying Customer First Day."
Customer First Day captures the company's determination to create the best experiences for its customers. This time, Digizens helped customers activate their digital lifestyles through these free apps: MyDigi, Capture, Digi Music Freedom and Asia Live. Customers were also able to enjoy special promotions by flashing any one of these app icons at any Digi Store nationwide. These promotions are also available to all Digi customers to enjoy while stocks last.
"Customer First Day will remain a priority for Digi in the coming years as a strong reminder of what's truly important to our business - our customers, and the need to bring the best of internet to them," said Albern.
