DiGi presents Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour
The band's first major nationwide tour

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 July 2006 - DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd ("DiGi") is presenting internationally-acclaimed Indonesian band Sheila on 7 for its first major Malaysian tour.

The DiGi Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour will see the band rocking out in four cities, performing their hits such Sephia, Bertahan Disana as well as tracks from their latest album 507.

The action begins on August 13, 2006 in Johor Bahru and continues in Sabah on August 16 and Penang on August 18th. The finale will take place at Stadium Nasional Kuala Lumpur on August 20.

During the launch of the DiGi Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour, Albern Murty, DiGi's Head of Product Management said, "The DiGi Sheila on 7 concert is part of DiGi's efforts to reward DiGi customers with the access, experience and entertainment that is relevant to their lifestyles and interests right at their doorstep.

"DiGi is proud to be able to give our customers in all parts of Malaysia a chance to be at the centre of a pivotal moment as Sheila on 7 celebrates their 10th year of making fabulous music. We are confident that the DiGi Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour will be a performance not to be missed by fans and music lovers alike".

Each of these venues has the capacity to accommodate up to 15,000 people, thereby making this the first time an Indonesian band has ever done a full major performance of this magnitude in Malaysia.

DiGi Prepaid MTV Powerpack customers will be given a chance to grab free tickets to the concert at the various venues via SMS invites.

"We are allocating 1,000 tickets to be given away to our valued DiGi Prepaid MTVpowerpack customers at each location. In addition, all DiGi customers will be offered a 20% discount off the ticket price," said Albern.

In conjunction with the tour, there will also be a "DiGi Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour SMS Contest" and a host of cool mobile downloads.

The "DiGi Sheila on 7 Malaysian Tour SMS Contest", which will begin today, invites fans and music lovers to create an original slogan and answer multiple choice questions for a chance at winning a Naza Bestari car. Other prizes to be won include, a special Sheila on 7 autographed guitar as well as a chance to meet with the band in Jakarta.

DiGi customers will be given the opportunity to be the first in Malaysia to download the caller-tune featuring Pemenang, which is the band's latest single off their newly released album 507. This caller-tune can be accessed via the DiGi website, under the CallerTunes™ menu.

Additionally, DiGi Prepaid MTVPowerpack customers will get a chance to download exclusive Sheila on 7 wallpapers for free via the DiGi Prepaid MTV Powerpack WAP portal
