Digi launches a refreshed brand with strong internet and customer focus

SHAH ALAM, 22 January 2015 -Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) introduced a refreshed brand identity today with a promise to be the enabler of digital inspiration for customers, and commitment to deliver service excellence, fueled by the company's solid track record of performance and innovation.

The refreshed brand which incorporates a new logo and philosophy 'Let's Inspire' builds on the solid data- focused operations established over the last four years to bring high-quality mobile internet services to a growing number of internet-loving customers.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Lars Norling said that the company today caters to a majority of internet customers with one in every two Digi customers having access to the internet and spending approximately three hours a day online. He explained, "The refreshed Digi brand expresses the internet-inspired life we will enable for our customers. Our aim is to be an integral source of inspiration for customers, enabling a platform for them to connect to a melting pot of enriching content that encourages them to inspire others, and be inspired themselves. We will bring together fun and uplifting internet content to constantly deliver inspiring moments and experiences to our customers on the move."

Digi's new visual identity maintains its strong signature yellow and incorporates the Telenor logo representing affiliation to one of the world's leading telecommunications companies. The brand refresh will be rolled out across all customer touchpoints, including its website, social media channels, advertising, company infrastructures and retail outlets nationwide starting today.
