DiGi and MTV keep the town awake all night through with hip and happening youth party
Kuala Lumpur May 6 2005 - Amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy rat race town and the street of Sultan Ismail, DiGi together with MTV painted the town yellow to celebrate its partnership with MTV and the launch of its new DiGi Prepaid MTV Powerpack.
For this purpose, a thousand youths were treated to a sumptuous food and a host of fun activities to celebrate this launch. Part of the programmes lined up for the night were performances by local artistes like Sasi the Don, Pop Shuvit, Phlowtron and VE who kept the crowd swinging their hips to rock, R&B and hip hop numbers.
The fun continued with fire breathers and dancers with drums and kabanas together with shadow dances, mime acts, capoeira performance, breakdance performance, rap competition and more electrifying performances by Vespertine and Tempered Mental.
DiGi customers were invited to the party via SMS broadcasts and at the party, they were also allowed to enjoy the experience of the new service package. RM5 is a special introductory subscription fee, while the RM2 first time activation fee will be waived for early birds who activate within the month of May and June. This package is available to all DiGi Beyond prepaid customers through subscription, and all DiGi's existing Prepaid Plus customers who subscribes to this package will automatically be converted to the Beyond prepaid tariff plan. The DiGi Prepaid MTV Powerpack is retailed at RM18.
