Announcement of New Independent Non-Executive Director for DiGi.Com Berhad

Datuk Amar Leo Moggie to join the Board of DiGi.Com Berhad

Shah Alam 11 May 2005 - The Board of DiGi.Com Berhad today announced the appointment of Datuk Amar Leo Moggie as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 10 May 2005. He has also been appointed as a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees of the Board.

During his tenure as Minister of Energy, Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Amar Leo Moggie was well-regarded within the telecommunications industry for his insight and effective leadership. He has significantly contributed to raising standards and placing telecommunications as among the most dynamic sector in the country. This also led to telecommunications being regarded as one of the fastest growing industry in the South East Asian region. Upon his retirement from politics in 2004 he served as the Chairman of Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

Commenting on the appointment, Chairman of DiGi.Com Berhad, Mr. Arve Johansen said, "On behalf of the Board of DiGi.Com Berhad, we are very pleased to have Datuk Amar Leo Moggie join us at the Board. Simultaneously the Board also announced the resignation of Tun Dato' Seri Dr Lim Chong Eu as independent Non-Executive Director of the Board and member of the Audit and Nomination Committees of the Board, effective 10 May 2005.

"It is with much regret that we accepted Tun Dato' Seri Dr. Lim's resignation. We are very appreciative and grateful to Tun's tenacious support and unwavering commitment to the Board.
